So, just what is the Adventures of Matt and Chris all about? It's about two best friends thrown together by passion...er, chance. It is based upon the real life of myself and my best pals, which is why it's "by" two people. I'm pretty much the main action man behind it - Matthew Abel. But you don't want to hear much about me.

I have drawn a webcomic before, which ended in about a month's time. Ded Jimmy was it's name. You'll see Ded Jimmy pop up from time to time, but his days as a full comic are over.

I do hope you'll put this site in your bookmarks, I try to update regularly on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with color comics every so often. It is a journey we can take together as I develop my artistic skills, both with pen and paper and on the computer. I am absolutely open to suggestion and you can email me at matthewabel at gmail.com.

My promises to you, the reader: I will do my best to take some risks artistically and narratively. I will try not to post any cop-out filler "I'm busy" crap, because that's annoying. I will tell you right now: things may get wacky and I will have no control over where the story goes. If there is a story. I don't promise anything. I will do my best to avoid "Cerebus Syndrome," or whatever the Websnark calls it.

My main goal is to have a hilarious webcomic so you can forget about your own life for a while.

I am entirely open to the following: Suggestions for the site, technical advice, hot girls who want me, and ideas for comics, but especially rabid fan mail. If you want an example, here we go:
